| Mount Hood's last major eruption was in 1790, 15 years before Lewis and Clark's expedition to the Pacific Northwest.  The Mount Hood National Forest Quarter, the fifth and final of the 2010 America the Beautiful Quarters, will be launched into circulation on Nov. 15, 2010. Its ceremonial release will be held two days later, Nov. 19, 2010, at the World Forestry Center.
