		Silver Coin Melt Values Skyrocket October 15, 2010 at 8:31 AM     U.S. and world coin melt values have skyrocketed as silver prices this year keep soaring to fresh 30-year highs. As of Thursday, silver has gained $7.50, or 44.1 percent, since the end of 2009, lifting intrinsic values of old coins containing the precious metal to astonishing new levels. Examples include the 1964 Roosevelt Dime and 1964 Kennedy Half-Dollar which have seen their silver melt values surge to $1.77 and $8.66, respectively.... However, the tone being used by the Fed's head was a bit on the 'fuzzy' side — at least as markets were concerned. We have often pointed out that market expectations (read: demands) have gone into totally 'extreme' mode and that any — even slightest- disappointment with the Fed could spell disaster....
