		This week the United States Mint published the opening sales figures for Yosemite National Park Quarters, and with a new month beginning it also released new coin production figures that provided the preliminary 2010-P Yosemite quarter and 2010-D Yosemite quarter mintages. Bags and rolls of the third coin released in the America the Beautiful Quarters™ Program were launched on Monday, July 26 — the Yosemite quarter ceremonial release occurred on Thursday, July 29. Their opening sales show that collectors purchased just over 2.7 million quarter-dollars between Monday and Sunday.... 		Precious metals prices futures opened higher Wednesday morning, although palladium has since turned lower. U.S. gold for December delivery was up $16.30 to $1203.80 an ounce as of 11:32 AM Eastern Time. Silver rose to $18.610 an ounce, gaining 18.8 cents. In PGM metals, platinum was up $3.00 to $1590.10 an ounce while palladium declined $5.05 to $501.40 an ounce.
