| The majority of United States Mint coin sales jumped for the second week in a row. Most of the demand was for collector sets, especially the new silver proof set, while some coins enjoyed increases too. Opening sales figures for the newly issued 2010 Proof Silver Set showed 241,656 sold between Thursday, August 26 and Sunday, August 29. It was a good start for the annual set, but it was behind the inaugural sales of the last two years, which were 271,372 for 2009 and 292,004 for 2008. (...)
