Annual collector sets, once again, shined the brightest among all of the United States Mint numismatic products, which were mostly sluggish for a second week. Only five items squeezed in an increase over prior sales. Demand for bullion coins picked up slightly. According to the latest US Mint sales figures, the 2010 Proof Set leaped the highest with a gain of 27,670. Next was the 2010 Uncirculated Mint Set, adding 13,819. Still, neither sets came close to the advances they had in the last round, when they climbed 43,120 and 25,800, respectively.(...)
